Oh man, you're just too good! So far no one had really suggested recreating the circumstances. Even I'm not entirely sure if that'd work, but since it's the best bet to change Skyler back, I'll have to put it off for Saturday-Sunday.

Would it be okay to pick back up the thread around then and assume he didn't notice the message among all the laughing ones?

Haha Do you know how odd it is that Fili's the most reasonable one in that entire post (other than Sophie Hatter)? I chalk it up to being a few years older the kids who are laughing about it. Enjoy it while you can until he echoe's back his younger/more reckless personality.

But yes, it's completely fine to pick up the thread on Saturday/Sunday, though I'm always much slower on weekends.
